The Welsh Government has commissioned an Eating Disorder and Disordered Eating Behaviour Service Review to look at all eating disorder services across Wales.
The review will be for all ages and types of eating disorders and will examine whether current provision in Wales works well enough, and what changes might be needed to improve it.
The Government is now urging people to attend the regional Design Workshops and have their say. These are creative workshops run by people who have had eating disorders, their families and close friends.
There will be two rounds of workshops, the first in May and the second in Autumn 2018. In the first round, attendees will be asked to imagine what might be possible for eating disorder treatment in Wales; in the second round they will be asked to refine possible models, which will then be reported to the Welsh Government.
